Hi,
I use forty-two on some of my DVD's and saw the exact same problem everytime : a green line at the bottom of the screen, either i'm in a window or full screen (I use VLC).
Is this normal ? or do I do something wrong ?
could someone help me in this situation, as this is especially annoying in fullscreen playback...
thanks for taking time.

Thats one thing that 42 does that FFmpeg doesnt.
It has to do with mencoder and mplayer.
If you can get an older version, it should work, but the encoding times will be much longer.
Hope this helps
