    Looking at getting one. I'd rather have firewire, but usb 2.0 would work. Any suggestions on what would be the best value, and where to go.

    Sure, I think Frys has one on sale, outpost.com for $229. Then simply purchase an external box for $45. I bought an external box that does Firewire, Usb1 and Usb2 for $40 a couple of weeks ago.
