  1. I just bought a Jetway PCI TV card to capture, I got gold scart and s-video cables as I was told this would give picture quality. The problem I'm having is the picture is black and white from s-video. I'm getting full colour with TV broadcast's but not from video capture. Anyone had this prob's? any help welcome

    Sounds like you are capturing in the wrong format. (PAL instead of NTSC, or vice versa).

    You have to connect a SVHS source to the SVHS input or a Composite source to the Composite input. Not a combination SVHS <-> Composite, this will give you black and white picture.
    SVHS has color and luminance signals separated. When you make a SVHS <-> Composite combination, only the luminance signal will be used and therefore the picture will only show black and white.
