  1. Ok, I'm recording some ...things with my Panasonic DMR E30 and ripping them to my hard drive. Now the problem is, I've got 2 hours of movie in a single VOB file and I'd like to split it up. I've checked out a few VOB tools, but I haven't found any that will let me split the files by time (e.g. 00:00- 44:00, 44:00-62:00, etc). I really don't wanna waste hours converting to another format when this plays perfectly fine in PowerDVD.

if you hit play then pause you'll be able to see the time.

  3. Um... why is it, when I use ChopperXP to open a 4 gig VOB file that's 2:00:28 long, it thinks it's only 20 minutes long!?

Have you tried DVDToolbox? I've only used it to split .vobs that are episodes. I think it might work on movies as well. :P
