I have a friend in china and the place she is staying at has a dvd and vcd player. I'm going to send her some test svcd/vcd in pal and ntsc format. Since I'm in america, ntsc are easier for me. The question is.....What are the odds that the ntsc disc will play there.
Thanx for replies.

Well, consider that most (all?) of the NTSC/PAL players sold in the USA are made in China.
My guess is that the companies which make the players sold here are also selling these units in China, with the same NTSC/PAL compatibility.
