  1. Hello, can anyone tell me if they have the EZCD inkjet printer by Epson that labels CD/DVDs and if they recommend it? I was curious about getting one and wanted to know if it was quality? I would be using it exclusively for labeling DVDs. Any praise or complaints regarding this printer would be much appreciated!

    Thanks, Serg

  2. Beware, the EZCD printer is NOT by Epson. I don't have any first hand knowledge of the printer itself, but I do know that the company that produces it only uses parts from Epsons line. And when I looked at them they only offered a 90 day warranty.

Epson does offer a printer that prints on CD/DVD's it is the Epson stylus photo 960. I just happened to order one today. You can get it for between $310 -$350 depending on where you go.

Just so you know I haven't seen the 960 print on to a CD\DVD either

I'm not saying anything against EZCD but going with Epsons Full warranty makes me feel better.

  4. Ya that one looks real affordable too. It was just a bit limited for me, it looked like you could only do single colored text. Do you know how much the ribbon cassettes are? I wish I could see one work and know if you could do complicated backgrounds or not.

Good luck with it. Post back if you get it and let us know how it works!

On the Casio ribbons are about $10us each, and availible in 3 packs for $25, I'm seriously thinking of giving it a shot, I dont really care about art, but it would be nice to no longer have to see my sloppy sharpiemanship. This is the first affordable termal transfer I've seen, maybe it will start a trend. lol

  6. Cool I like the price too. Fortunetaly or unfortunately (depending how you look at it) I was looking to upgrading my printer for Photo's anyway. It was just a bonus that I found one that did that and DVD's. Let us know if it the Casio works out and I will do the same with the Epson.
