cheers
how do you start it??
realised that you need to load the disc before starting it BUT where is the go button?? -
Just like you said put a disc in start the program then at the bottom of the screen tell it where to save the ripped file. Now click on the file tab and select "all" then just press the start button.

i couldnt get it to start coz my hd was full!!!
still falls over at 60% though
any further ideas?? -
Kid's disks, eh?
Take a look at the data side. If it looks dirty, clean it with cold water and soap. Wipe it dry with a soft hand towel.
If the surface appears to be scratched, take a ball of cotton and some white toothpaste (gel won't do :P ) and wipe the scratches in a circular fashion. White toothpaste is the best scratch remover for such things.
By the way, clean disks rip almost twice as fast as dirty ones.
See how it goes...The more I learn, the more I come to realize how little it is I know. -
I'm having a similar problem it hangs up on a couple of the vob files in DVD decryptor and smartripper hangs up before it even gets into the program.

DVDDecrypter 3.1.4.0 has an issue with Liteon drives that causes it to fail the brute force attack on some files. The files get skipped and/or a message is displayed saying it could not find the key. Usually this can be retried several times to get it to finally be successful.
However in some cases it will not rip the files in which case another program such as smartripper is used to rip the missing files. Or use another drive with DVDDecrypter. The author of the program is aware of the issue and will have a work around in the next build. -
I do not have a Liteon drive, and Smartripper won't even open the disk. This is the only disk I'm having this trouble with. Setting DVDecrypter to keep retrying the file is not helping either.
