im having a problem burning a dvd onto a dvd+r. i keep getting the error message, there is not enough free space to burn this compilation. the dvd burns fine onto the same make of dvd+rw???
the exact size in total is 4.2 gb, on the front of the packaging, the total size of the dvd+r is 4.7?
any ideas???

So you can burn it to a DVD+RW, but not to a DVD+R? That's actually very odd. What program are you using to burn. Is the MPEG file 4.2GB or the image/iso file?

nero to burn, the whole iso file is 4.2 g, it plays perfectly off the dvd+rw, but wont burn onto the dvd+r
