I would like a bit advice on making SVCDs.
I done a VCD of an avi clip and it burned great.
So I thought I would try a SVCD of the same clip.
I followed the SVCD tutorial.
I went through the SVCD process and cut the avi into 3 parts this time instead of 2.
I set the bitrate to 1600kbits/s and encoded it no probem.
I noticed after it encoded it showed up as a simular type icon as a *.wav file (a circular icon) whereas my VCD icons after decoding show up as square icons displaying a video clip.
I tried to play it before burning and received the 'Wrong Format' error message.
I would appreciate any help on this.
Thanks
jack

To read MPEG2 files, you need a special MPEG2 reader. I suggest you try the Elecard MPEG2 player, it brings the codec with itself. Look under TOOLS of this site
