I got a Buslink to use for ripping. Should I sent it as Master or slave. My burner is a Sony 500a. Or, Does it matter Sony Master...Buslink Slave?
Thanks all

Master/Slave doesn't matter, unless your into that sort of thing
However, sharing a buss with a Fast (DMA 66/100/133) device and a slow (PIO/UDMA33) device is not so good. IDE busses only operate at the slowest device speed. So you may be better off with only 1 drive instead of 2. Test it and see.To Be, Or, Not To Be, That, Is The Gazorgan Plan -
Loaded the Buslink up as slave...Updated the firmware and ripped a movie real quick. Got up to 8X rip speed. Not 16X but I'm not gonna complain. Saves the sony for burning anaway.
