  1. a previous post shows the following:

Episode Discs with dvd2one are easy, if you set things up right. I don't care about the menus, I just want the main stuff. So I rip the main files with decryptor and then use ifoedit to create 1 PGC so that dvd2one will be able to process it. They're TV epsiodes anyway, and even on the original DVD's they're not the greatest quality. I've had no problems backing up multiple PGC movies such as Band of Brothers or episode dvd's like the Sanford & Son series and Good Times. This method works fine, unless you absolutely need the menus. This method means each chapter is an episode.

Can someone elaborate on the details of "use ifoedit to create 1 PGC so that dvd2one will be able to process it..."

    thx.

  2. rip the main vobs then open ifoedit and press create ifos.

make sure create 1 pgc and same as source is selected then find your vobs and press ok.

this will make your episodes into one complete one so you can use dvd2one to transcode in one hit.

I tried this method with episode DVD's and it doesn't work for me. Ifoedit will see it as one PGC but it maintains the chapters. It does not treat each PGC as a chapter. Pressing advance on my remote advances chapters not episodes. Please post a guide on exactly what procedure is used.
