I tried installing the nimo pack directly into my TMPGEnc folder, but when I goto the enviornmental settings the codec isnt there. Why isnt it showing up? I know i need some type of codec installed for TMPGEnc, but I can get it to show in the enviornmental settings. Where do I install the codec and why cant TMPGEnc use the codecs that are already installed on my computer. I have no problem playing movies on WMP or Win DVD.

You have to probably change the AVI entries in the VFAPI tab's priority list within TMPGENC. AVI's should have higher priority than other VFAPI plugins - then TMPGENC will read your AVI files properly. Note: You won't see specific AVI codec listed, like DivX for example - I've only ever seen two AVI entries in the list (one of them's DirectShow, I think).
Search the forum for further details... good luck!/\/\ars /\/\ayhem
