  3. I think 2000. It uses less resources than XP and it supports 2 CPUs, only XP PRO does, not XP home. Many may say go to XP but I think you will be golden with 2000. Its doesnt make you do that silly activation thing and doesnt come bloated with things you're saying you dont need.

  4. tgpo- lol, couldn;t have put it better myself m8!

i agree- 2000 is prob best if you dont want to put n e games, + it is cheaper. the only prob is that performance wise i think XP would probably be better (esp if its tweaked) than 2000. however, if you are not going to tweak it then go for 2000

Also m8, i think you may find it hard to set up a dual boot system, putting 2 partitions on your hd,1 with NTFS and the other FAT 32.

I think Win2000 Pro is best for dual OS with Win98.

Sure, I did thought of having a dual OS like this and WinXP Pro may be just as good, but not sure though. I don't recommend WinXP Home Edition for dual boot.

My computer is like this as NTSF and FAT32 as separate hard drive of each. Having Win98 in a FAT32 hard drive is an option for me; an old computer I am using is Win98 anyway.

My OS is Win2000 and I could make the computer as all NTFS if I want to.
