If I purchase an MPEG2 decoder for Windows Media Player, will this also allow me to import MPEG2 clips directly into WMM2? I'd like to know for sure before I spring for the $15US for the codec. I have not been able to find a definitive answer online anywhere.
I recognize that there are other tools I can use to convert the MPEG2 into something else first. But I'm looking for convenience here, not ultimate quality.
I'm running WinXP Pro.
Thanks.
