Hi,
I have used the IFOEdit trick with SVCD Mpeg files and they work great in my DVD . I also have tried encoding Divx movies to DVD format with DVD2SVCD but I seem to lose quality for some reason and it also takes a long time. My question is quality wise should the Divx converted to DVD format not be a better quality than SVCD with the IFOEdit trick?
I have followed the guides here and so far the SVCD to DVD is much easier and works fine on DVD player, what is actually happening with this trick? Anyone care to explain?
The Divx files are all VERY high quality, normally 2 cd encodes.
Would like more specs also on just direct CCE encoding to DVD.
Thanks for the help
Patrick
