There seems to be a profound lack of interest in this program. When DVD2ONE and InstantCopy came out the threads became un-readably long and partisan, but there seems no information about DVD95COPY.
Has anyone actually used the full program? Does it work? Is it worth $45.00?

  2. I think it still has a few bugs to be worked out.

Personally, I think IC7 has stolen the show. That is if you want the menus and extras.

Even detractors can't complain regarding the 15 day full function trial. Most places are selling it for around $40 and if you buy befor March 15th, Pinnacle will send you $20 back in rebate.

I'm not going to spend $45 more to reduce the menus and other titles. Give me a free trial and I might consider it, but I'm not going to buy sight unseen.

Timing is everything and I think IC7 has beaten everyone to the punch and with Pinnacle behind it, they will outmarket smaller players.

  4. Maybe... I think Pinnacle's support in the past has been less than stellar, however. I'm simply going by what I have seen posted by others, I have no first hand experience.

DVD95Copy, on the otherhand, has a forum where users can interact directly with the developers and the developers seem to frequent the forums, which is a good thing.

For now, I think you're right. Instant Copy HAS stolen the show. Whether or not the situation looks the same in say a month from now is anyone's guess. I do agree that the lack of a fully functional trial version is hurting DVD95Copy's sales.

  5. I heard the picture is not that good. they say it's very blocky. For moveis I love DVD2ONE for episode DVD and DVD movies like underCover Brother Instant Copy 7

  6. The blockiness seems to be attributed to a bug that makes the program encode the movie at the lowest quality setting. I guess this only happens on some movies and it's something they are working on fixing.

The more players in the game, the better it is for us as it pushes everyone to try that much harder to get our money.

  7. I have Instant Copy on order but for now I use DVD2one. 15 minutes to rip using SmartRipper, 15 minutes to encode using DVD2one, and 16 minutes to burn using DVD-R 4x media and my Sony burner. Screw the menus, ads, and warning screens. If I want to change chapters I just punch in the chapter number on my DVD players remote and go to it.
