Anyone here ever use this 4x media with a Sony DRU500A and if so did it work at 4x? Since I upgraded my writer to firmware 1.0f it no longer will record at 4x on the media I had purchased.

  2. Guess no one here has tried this media. Maybe I should just buy like ten each of both media and see if they will burn at 4x.

I have used the ESBuy disks, but I have a Pioneer. Mine all worked fine except for two discs that had buffer underrun and were rendered coasters.

I have been considering buying this Cendyne burner which I think is really a Pioneer.

  6. I have used the Meritline 4x disks which are Ritec without any troubles on my Pioneer 105. I have burnt around 30 DVD's with them.
