  1. Are you sick and tired of those crappy X10 ads popping up at alot of the sites you visit? Then join in my fight against them. Just send this to them at this adress

    sales@mail.x10.com and webmaster@mail.x10.com

    Dear X10,
As a regular internet user and frequent victim of your idiotic and annoying advertising I am sending this complaint email to say that your online advertising is actually leading me not to buy your products. It is also wasting my time and money. Therefore I recommend that you rethink your marketing campaign.

    Yours Sincerely,
    A Regular Internet User

Actually, the best way to keep those ads from hitting you is to put entries like the following in your local machine's (or proxy server's) HOSTS file:
    127.0.0.1 ad.x10.com

What that'll do is redirect all requests for that DNS entry back to your computer. We have a pretty extensive list of ad servers (focallink, doubleclick, etc.) in our HOSTS file at work....

    http://www.panicware.com

    And it works great.

I use Pop-Up Stopper too and I agree its the best. Only sometimes you just HAVE to disable it.
