  1. Could someone please tell me what i am doing wrong . When i decrypt Ice Age and then try to use DVD2ONE i get loads of files but none can be the main file as they are not more than a couple of minutes long. I have read a few things about selecting different vob files as the disks hold both the widescreen and full screen version but as i am just a bigginer at this i kind of flew over the top of my head. What i need realy is a step by step guide on what to do. If anyone can help i would be very greatfull.

  2. dvd decrypter should automatically select the movie files for you, but in this case, the files it selects are not the movie ones! It just chooses the biggest capacity set of vob files as this would normally be the movie but with ice age the extras are bigger than the film.

To find out which vob files contain the film use powerdvd or windvd (or some other dvd player which allows you to select individual vob files). Then select those files and the associated ifo file in dvd decrypter to rip.

  3. U need to select from ifo2 onwards I think!! U dont need to use dvd2one as all U need to do is strip the crap out of the film ie other languages & subs & create new ifo's then burn it

    Kev!

Ive back up this movie bob

Dvd dycrypter does not select the main movie properly on this film

The main movie vobs are further down the list of files on this one

Vts 4 i think not quite sure but its the other large set of vobs and not the ones that it selects on startup

  6. when I did that movie I'm pretty sure that there was wide and full screen selection and there was no need for DVD2ONE and I had zero problems with dvd decyripter or IFO edit!
    Thanks alot,

  7. another option is downloading the trail version of instant copy from the pinnacle web site and use that to make an exact copy of the whole dvd with specials. but you still need to use decrypter or smart ripper. but this time select all the files in decrypter and just click in instant copy, make sure you have a blank dvd-r in before you start instant copy.
