can I stright up burn DVD-5 To Dvd-r's without having to cut out all of that stuff and whats the best program to do with? thanks!

Slowly Im gettin this DVD-R stuff :)

I just RIP the DVD to a "VIDEO_TS" folder then burn the folder to DVD-R using RecordNow assuming the total file size is less than 4.46GB (around 4.7Gbits).

Even easier is to just use DVD Decrypter. (see DVD Rip guides to the left). Basically:
1) Choose Mode - ISO - read.
2) Rip image file to HD
3) Choose Mode - ISO Write
4) Burn Image file to DVDR
It's that simple. As it's DVD-5 you get a 100% copy, no quaility lost and al the menus/extras. DVD Decrypter is also freeware.
