    I have many VHS movies which I would like to convert to DivX. How do I go about doing so? Do I just buy some cable from RadioShack which connects my VCR to my Mac then use some program to extract the video/audio or what?

    Any help is appreciated.

    Im no expert on this subject, but I hate to see posts with 0 replies

    my understanding is its not that easy. no RADIO SHACK cable exists like you want

    instead it would require a video capture card/box

    make since?!
