I'm looking to capture films etc through the TVout on my graphics card onto a dedicated hardware encoder on another PC.
At the moment I have a Asus GeForce 3 8200 Deluxe. The thing with this is that when I enable TVout on it I have to drop the refresh rate to 60hz and when the signal transfers to the TV the monitor goes black and I have to view the output on the TV.
I would much prefer to have "Twin View" of some description. So that the monitor doesn't go blank. eg picture on TV and PC.
Also do the GFX TVout signals differ in quality?
EG. GF4, matrox, Ati Radeon.
Whats the best?
Can anyone recommend the best route to go.
Thanks
