Need tv-software

Hello

After a long struggle I've gotten my PCTV Rave to work with btwincap drivers and am very pleased with them with the exception that ...
I can't get find a tv-program that would work with it

DSaler = Crashes when I try to autoscan
Mytv = Freezes machine when I try to run it
Avi_Io = Crash when autoscan
Amcap = works, but I don't know if I can store the channels in any place
ChrisTV = tunes channels, but gives no sound...just buzz ....channels work when tuned with the external Tv-Tuner selection, but they can't be stored can they ?. Autoscan does not give sound to channels.
ATV2000 = Freezes machine
BorgTV = Freezes machine

I'm running out of software to try ? Any recommendations or tips
on getting CrisTV to tune properly. Basicly any software that would SAVE THE TUNED channels would be enough.

My card is a Pinnacle PCTV Rave.

I have a PCTV Rave in both my PCs, having dumped my ancient ATI All In Wonder 128 due to poor driver support and old age. If you want software that's free I cannot recommend VirtualVCR high enough for straight AVI capture.

If you feel the need to spend some dough then Intervideo's WinDVR 2 is my current favourite
