  1. I would like to make a DVD with a bunch of short videos on it. If I select one of them, I would like it to return to the menu when it's finished playing. I would also like to make a "Play All" button, that would play them each in order.

The only way that I can think of to do this would be to put 2 copies of each video on the disc, with the first copies all having "return to previous menu" flagged, and the second copies all having "play next" flagged. They'd be laid out like this -
    movie 1 (return to previous)
    movie 2 (return to previous)
    movie 3 (return to previous)
    movie 1 (play next)
    movie 2 (play next)
    movie 3 (play next)

Does anyone know of a more efficient way of doing this?

All of the less expensive (sub $1000) authoring programs seem to be set up this way.

You'll have to get ahold of one of the more expensive programs to do what you want.
