I have encoded a 25fps Xvid to DVD by frameserving to TMPGEnc and it works perfectly in the PC-DVD. But in the standalone it is extremely jerky. I have tried doing it the "easy" way too - same result.
I don't do the 3:2 pulldown, but that's only needed when encoding NTSC as I understand it (I set it to Non-interlace). Someone said something about the field order, I do bottom field first. The frame rate is set corresponding to the movie - 25 fps.
This is the first 25fps Xvid I did, I have done several 23 fps Xvid's without any problems and also several 25 fps SVCD's.
