  1. I was just wondering if anyone knew of a program or of a way to make an svcd with a smaller video bitrate so the picture will still be better than a vcd but wont take up 3-4 cd-rs for a 2 hour movie......any help would be appreciated.. thank you....

  2. Use tmpgenc wizard mode and split the movie in half in stead of 3 or 4 and you can play around with settings to get the highest quality on 2 discs

Here is an example for a 1hr 30 minute movie

If you use two 80 minute cd-rs
Your bit rate will be around 2178 kbps

Just a note I usually take out the begining and the credits when converting so I can get the best bitrate possible.

BTW you can figure this out using a bitrate calculator (look under tools section). Like I said I just use tmpgenc in wizard mode.

I use sefty guide it explains it all in the guide and gives you the options of what programs you want to use.

    Hope this helps
