Hi folks,
I am now using the Morgan MJPEG and HuffyUV codec and am able to capture with little or no frame loss.
My only problem now is that my files are still pretty huge (VirtualDub says it's using 5123kbps/s) and 1hr 30mins is taking up around 15GB!!
How can I get this file size down a bit?
I have a few other questions as well:
1. In VirtualDub in the Video -> Compression window whats the difference between moving the Quality slider in this window and moving the Quality slider within the Codec Configuration window?
2. What does the sub-sampling do? (ie 4:2:2 or 4:1:1)?
3. In a previous version of VirtualDub I could select PAL60 as the Video Format, but I can't on the latest version - any ideas?
4. How do I crop the video as I'm capturing?
5. Lastly, (this is just a cosmetic question) I tried using the 'Logo' filter while I was capturing, but it didn't insert it - can you add a logo while it's capturing?
Thanks,
NiVZ.
