I use Impression SE almost exclusively and love it! Pro is the same but just has more features enabled. Whats your question?

Whether or not it will burn DVD's from MPEG files and burn DVD's for a conventional DVD player...Will it?
-
You need to have your video and audio in two separate files. Video needs to be .mp2 or m2v and audio needs to be .wav(uncompressed) or .mpa(compressed mpg). It wont accept muxed files like Ulead DVD Workshop. If you use TMPGEnc just tick the box to export separate files and change the file extensions. In answer to your question, yes, to both but files have to be separate.
Any more queries don't hesitate
