DVD+R / RW player problem ?????

I have a Mintek 1710 portable DVD player that plays everything I throw at it except DVD+R. (it does play +rw) Recently I burned some DVD+R's in a Phillips stand alone DVD recorder. The Minek Plays them. This makes me believe there IS a way to burn or format a DVD+R so it will play when made from the PC.

Any Help or thoughts would be GREATLY appreciated!!

Ulead's DVD Movie Factory 2 burns playable DVD+Rs for me. I also do not have a problem when I burn a DVD as a UDF DVD in Nero Burning ROM's latest version using 1.05 compatibility. Try burning it in 1.02 and 1.05 compatibility in Nero and see if one of them does not work. I did have a problem with one when burnt it as a DVD ISO.

Yes right now there is alot of confusion over what version of Nero and what settings you burn a disc to make it play in all DVD settop players. When I find a good combo I'll let ya know although I have different players at my place - maybe I'll go to circuit city & try a bunch?
