Been trying to decide what capture card to get, so after going cross-eyed looking at the capture cards on site here, decided to go over to ebay & see what I can find. Checked the capture card area, but don't see anything about it there. I know they say when something looks too good, it usually is, but thought, what the heck, wouldn't hurt to put some feelers out.

I think its pretty good, as far as cheapie cards go. Maybe one of the
better ones.
Comes with pretty good software.
Intervideo 2(i think).
Installation is a little goofy on win98, but do-able.
A breeze on XP, even tho' I can't stand XP. -
I'm pretty happy with mine. The VCD and SVCD output isn't 100% compliant, but I edit out commercials with TMPGEnc (freeware for mpeg 1) and it makes them completely compliant. The Intervideo WinDVR is 1.8 or something - not 2.0 but the only differences I noticed with 2.0 is zoom and pan. It's pretty easy to get VCD or SVCD - record, edit with TMPGEnc's "Cut and Merge" and burn CDs with Nero. Very easy and easy with good results.
