    I am having a big dispute with this person about how there can never be any DVD-9 Burners. All I now is they will never make none becuase I read a few post here.

    Can anyone give me a whole answer to how this cannot be done or refer me to some website. (I searched but all I found was DVD-9 media - dual side of course) and not on the topic itself.

    Don't know where the topic is...

    However, dual layered burners will probably never happen. This is simply as the technology to make dual layered recordable discs + drives still doesn't exist and by the time it does, whatever will replace DVD will already be there.
