keeping the menu?

since you can join two dvd's by renaming vts vobs, creating new ifo's, and using dvd2one; is it possible to rename the menu vob and run it through dvd2one so it will fit? I was going to try this but I was curious if anyone else has and has been sucessful or failed?
If no one respondes I'll try it and post my results.

I would also like to know how to do this. I have seen a few guides on how to do it, but the instructions were VERY poor and left me confused. If some one would like to make a detalied guide, that would be awesome. Thanks
