Pioneer AO5 Help

Hi I just wanted to know of anyone has tried the Memorex disk with this player. I have burned with them on the A04 and they worked. I've tried on the A05 and about half way through or sometime in the very begining the video glitches really bad, along with the audio. If anyone could help me, that would be great. Also, if you do have the A05 with firmware 1.00 could you list some of the media you use. Thanks alot!

Yes, i use Memorex DVD-Rs and havent had one fail yet.

I have the latest firmware... 1.21 i believe.. and the only brands i have tried so far are TDK and Memorex.. soon i should be getting my Princo's..
BTW, before i upgraded the firmware from 1.00 , I had no issues with TDK or Memorex either

I bought a sample pack at rima.com and everthing burned properly on my dvr-105 firmware 1.0. All 1x stuff. Also retail verbatim dvd-r 2x works great too at 2x.

Maxell DVD-Rs work perfectly for me...kinda pricey though
