I've tried to find a guide and tried to run a search but can't find the simple steps for what I want to do.
I just want to take an m2v file and re-encode it for DVD. Can someone give me the steps I need to do this for CCE SP2.5? Also, include settings you would use etc. I've just gotton good at using TMPenc but I'm looking for a quicker solution.

http://doom9.org/ has some excellent guides for using CCE as well as some other guides.

I did check over there, but didn't have any luck finding a simple m2v re-encode guide.

A couple of different methods. The first thing you'll need is DVD2AVI (version 1.76). Open the M2V in DVD2AVI, and save it as a project file. From here, you'll need either AVISynth, and MPEG2DEC (suggested), or you can use VFAPIConverter. Either of these will let you frame serve the project file back into CCE.
Search the Guides for AVISynth, or VFAPI, or even DVD2AVI. You should find what you need.Impossible to see the future is. The Dark Side clouds everything...
