    I edited a mpeg1 file with TMPGEnc Author and it converted to DVD. I want the edited file in MPEG format. How do I do that?

    dvd are mpeg files already

    yep, if you are planning on burning it to a disk, you don't need to make it a mpeg file first. Nero or another program can use those files just fine.

    If for some reason you really wanted a mpeg file instead, look in the tools section of this site for a DVD ripper you like.
