I have a VCR hooked up to my PC and I used VirtualDub for capturing.

Problem is that it's an old VCR, only supporting mono autio outout.
So, when I capture I get mono audio in 1 speaker.

(This ain't really a big problems since I can adjust my speakerset to divide the audio signal over the left and right speakers.)

    BUT....

    1. Is there a way to divide the 1 channel audio to left & right WHILE capturing?

    2. How can I make the the mono audio to 2 channels with already captured files?

  2. Just get a little "2 in - 1 out" phono splitter adapter plug (they are available nearly everywhere) and stick that into your mono VCR. Then get a stereo phono-to-3.5mm jack lead and stick the stereo ends into the adapter and the 3.5mm jack into your sound card's line in. That should do it.

That's similar to what I've done with my analogue camcorder.
Split the mono cable into a 2 channel cable. Then plugged that cable into a 2 phono to 1 stereo jack and into my soundcard.

Now I have 2 channel mono sound.

Please note this does not make it STEREO sound.
