    I have been told that if you put labels onto dvd's that I have recorded that after awhile it attacks the dvd and makes it innoperable could some one confirm that this is correct. Thanks in advance

    DVD's have a small margin a error when it comes to playback. Putting a label on could cause the smallest imbalance making the disk unplayable. Best to use a Sharpie or a professional printer.
