  1. ffmpegXg can output nicely and smoothly a divx from .vob but here's what it says when switching to Xvid:

    AltiVec found
Reading /Users/serisier/.mplayer/codecs.conf: can't open '/Users/serisier/.mplayer/codecs.conf': No such file or directory
    Reading /usr/local/etc/mplayer/codecs.conf: 44 audio & 112 video codecs
    File not found: 'frameno.avi'
Reading config file /Users/serisier/.mplayer/mencoder: No such file or directory
xvidencopts in not an MEncoder option
    Exiting... (error parsing cmdline)

Anything missing or did I forget to check something ?
    Tks and best regards.

  3. You're using an old mencoder binary without XviD support. Install a newer one.
