Friend of mine showed me how to make a .bin into a proper SVCD w PBC without having to extract MPEG-2 and repacking it as .bin etc. It's a short file you plop in Toast (Multitrack XA) and plop down the .bin(s) after. Piece of cake. Got me thinking... seems to be a short-cut for making DVD-SVCDs, or so I thought... Toast is notoriously sceptical about the whole thing of coursebut that hasn't stopped me from dreaming :P
Does anyone know if I can do this with another program? That'd make it real easy to make 2-3 full films fit snugly on a DVDr.
Thanks for your input,

I believe the easiest way to go about this is to use sizzle. But I haven't used sizzle before. But I hear it's THEE proggy for making DVD burnable images.
As for SVCDs, I use VCDToolsX. Create the XML file from the MPG(s), then create the IMGs from the XML file. Drag and drop the IMG files in order one by one into toast.
Hit record.
But give sizzle a try... word is it's the sh-tz
