  1. hey there, can anyone help me with a cvd encoding problem? i encoded a 1 min sample of a clip that is about 640 x 480 in avi and it came out perfectly. Then when i tried to encode the whole 32 min clip, it came out vcd blocky quality. Suggestions anyone . any cvd experts? Thanks in advance.

    also , the 1 min clip consisted mostly of light scenes, while the 32 min clip consisted of dark clips. please help me.

    I think that's the problem..there is nothing wrong with your encoding..It's your orginal source..... it's impossible to get better quality than your original source.. it's like saying encoding vcd to dvd...

  3. so is it impossible to encode any movie so that it is high quality that has dark scenes ?
