  1. OK, i read the manual like a good lil boy, and everything started fine. i got a nice preview movie ~ 20 megs or so, which looked great. Then when that was done, it spit out the DVD (like it said it would after the .vob rip), but now it just stays stuck on the "encoding video" screen with "0 frames of video" in the bottom right corner and "100 of 0" at the top. there IS an .mpg file in the folder I was transcoding to and it DOES play with sound, but its only 20 megs as well... the same exact footage as the test mpg. theres also an .ac3 file there as well. Oh yea, heh... I'm tryin to do a DVD > DVDR, if thats important... so I clicked on the DVD option.

  2. eh nevermind, looks like its workin now. Its been on the Xferring video thing for a lil while so I checked in the directory and sure enough theres an actual avi file thats growing in size now. Jus so you know Kai, the first few times I tried this, i put in a name for my movie, with no extension on it. This last time I just left it as the default "movie.mpg" i dont know if that has anything to do with it, but oh well... ill let you know how it turns out.
