  1. I use AIW Radeon to capture to SVCD compliant files. I then jump to Meadia Studio 6 to edit and add transitions. When I jump back to AIW to capture again, I get the following error:

"Atimmc has caused an error in ATIDVCR.DLL"
    "Atimmc will now close"

To fix this I have to uninstall/reinstall all ATI drivers! I talked to ATI tech support, and was told that this problem has started to spring up, and that their looking into it. They offered the following suggestions:

    Capture in I frame only
    Capture at 320 X 240

Has anyone else had this problem??

    My machine:
40G, 256 RAM, Windows ME, TMPEG, burn with Nero.

    raiderray,

I had some similar problems with almost the exact same setup. You really have to follow the guide on configuring your system, registry and ATI drivers EXACTLY. If your not sure where it is (it's in the CAPTURE section), then here's the link:

It might be good to read up a little before you go on with this. Updating BIOS can be disasterous, I know. I just sent in my motherboard because I forgot to decompress the new bios before flashing....dooh! And this is after doing it for years. Caca happens. Then again, maybe you got one of dem new fangled mobo's wiff two BIOSs.
