Check your audio settings in Vdub once again.
But you don't need to cut the DivX. You can cut the file in TMPG before or after encoding. If an AVI is too large to open it in TMPG, use the Vdub frameserver.

Are you cutting at "Key frames" use the "yellow key" and jump to the next key frame before you cut.

    or

If the movie was a total of 8000 frames (Jump to end to find out)

1, move to the start and mark it.

2, move to 4000 then click the "key frame" forward >

3, mark this as the end (Write down the new number) i.e. 4010

    4, save AVI

5, move to 4010 and click the "key frame" backwards <, this give a second or so of the same movie again.
    Mark it again. say 4000

6, move to end of movie (8000) and mark it

    7, click save AVI

No cutting, just saving part 1 and 2

Part 2 will begin with a second or so of the same thing as the end of part 1

God Can you understand that I cant

    second edit, its 2:39AM
