ahhhh help me!please help me!!

I got my New NEC ND-1000a today! However, i have put a DataWrite dvd+r disc in and the burning programs (Ulead DVD Movie Factory, CDRwin) say that there is nothing in the drive....ahhhh whats going on here....help me please! It does read the nero cd that i go though but i can do any burning!!! help

I have spoken to another guy that has this dvd writer and these discs work with his one!

I have tried the media: - TDK, Datawrite and traxdata….whats going on?!
none of them work....could it be the drive?!

For Ulead DVD Movie Factory you might need a patch since your writer is quite new.
Cdrwin is not a DVD writing software, only CD.

Try the latest version of Nero, it should have support for your writer.

Yeah its the DVD writer its self...i doesnt even read normal dvd movies.!! gotta send it back

You need the ASPI drivers, look over in the downlaod section. Nero comes with some, or Adaptec has them also.

Ok heres the nine one one! I have used all of the programs under the sun!(nero, disc juggler, and more)....the dvd drive is broken..it can read cdrom cds with no problem, but it wont read a single dvd cd, i tried a film, and varied blank dvd+R discs and i still get nothing...i dont know whats wrong with it but i am sending it back and getting a new one. thanks for all the help that has been given
