  1. The answer to the question I wanna ask may be obvious, but I need the answer nonetheless. If I use DVD Decryptor to rip just the main movie files with the IFO file, can I just open ifoedit and click on get VTS sectors without having to correct vob navigation packs and all that? Is the other options such as correcting the VOBU pointers only used when you are stripping out audio streams, subs and the like?

  2. I'm not 100% sure what you're asking or trying to do (tell us what you want to do and that'll help a lot).

I'll assume that you want to take a DVD-9 disc, strip out the main movie (which is less than 4.7GB), then burn to a DVD-R. If so take a look at the "Enemywithin"'s post on the link below on using IFOEdit:

  3. I'm not too sure what your asked either, but I have a guide on my site that shows one how to strip out the main movie and burn it to a DVDr. Check it out and see if it helps you (URL in my sig).

  4. Yes, that answered my question. Nice site by the way That one goes in my bookmarks

What I ended up doing was using decryptor to rip the main movie, then I used ifoedit and checked these options. create new ifo's, and correct original ifo's. I didn't need to correct the VOBU pointers for the VOB files because I didn't strip out anything. But it turned out good, and that's all that matters. Thanks for the help guys
