Does anyone know why there has been a rise in price in CD's lately, or is it just an excuse by suppliers.
I bought 100 silver/green-silver cd-r's for 13.00GBP inc VAT a couple of months back. Now they seem to not stock them or they are expensive arounf the 20.00 mark.
I have seen some at 14 exc, but still, why the increase

I can't confirm for sure but...
...I heard two of the biggest producers, verbatim and tdk have relocated their manufacturing to Japan from Holland.
As a result of the Japanese having smaller arms than the Dutch the workers aren't able to wring as much dye out of the cloths they use, hence the increase in price.
