I just wanted to thank everyone who helped me out over these past weeks, im sure i must been quite a pain in the butt posting a new problem every day, or even a couple hours later.

For some reason when i recorded in mpeg-1 through my video in card, and then compressed to SVCD mpeg-2 format with TMPG, the audio would go out of sync gradually, so i couldnt use the audio gap correction, even if i ripped the audio and used a second program to encode it.

I tried to record in AVI but FAT32 hard-drives have a 4 gig limit to incoming files, so i could only record for about 15 minutes

So i did some research and found out that NTFS hard-drives have no restrictions. So i re-coded my hard-drive to NTFS format, recorded in uncompressed avi. about 12 gig an hour. and then split it using virtual dub, and encoded..

PRESTO it worked
dunno why, but it did
thx for your help anyways
