Hello,
I'm not sure if anyone can answer this, but I thought I'd give it a try. I have a JVC GR-SXM740 S-VHS-C videocamera. I have tried everything I can to get the display off the screen, but cannot figure out a way to do so. Maybe I'm just overlooking something. If someone has this same videocamera or knows how I may be able to remove the display from the videos that I'm recording, please, please let me know. It would be most appreciated. I have a wedding coming up that I'm supposed to film and I know they would hate all that display stuff junking up the screen. Any help or ideas would be great.
Thanks so much, Michelle

Hi, I have a JVC GR-SXM240 and we use the same controls, ergo, the same manual. Anyway, go to your menu, select DATE/TIME DISP. Then select "OFF".
Hello. -
I have the date and time display off.. but I am still seeing "EP", "TBC", the counter display, and a little play button on the screen when I play and record the video. Do you know how I can remove these? I can't seem to find the option on the menu?
Thanks, Michelle
