  1. hello, i am a bit of a newbie, but im pretty sure this vcd is a bit dodgy..
basically, i can cut and merge with tmpegenc, but i cant edit it. i want to edit it, because, originally it was a 4:3 picture, but even then, the ripper put a letterbox, and so the picture looks like its been squashed down. ive tried different software, but everything tells me that it is unsupported. i managed to open it with the m2-edit demo, buit of course its only a demo. i CAN cut n merge with tmpegenc

VCD or SVCD make your mind up

You need to install a Mpeg 2 filter before you can load any SVCD (mpeg2) into TMPGEnc

There are only 3 that are supported.
    Sony
    Cyberlink (Powerdvd 4)
    Ligos

I recommend the Ligos, LSX MPEG Encoder Suite 2.0

P.S try to load it into normal Vdub, if it wont load its Mpeg 2
