When I make a Divx video with VirtualDub the size is 352x240 pixels. I have a freind who had a video I watched that was a Divx and the size was 640x352. My freind didn't make the video he had and didn't know how it was made. Is there a way to specify the image size with VirtualDub, or is there another program that can be used to accomplish this???

It's very simple - just select 'Video' -> 'Filters' -> 'Add' , double-click on 'Resize' and set your desired output size.

For 'Filter Mode' I recommend 'precise bicubic'.

No, if your original is 352X240 then blowing it up in size is going to make it look terrible, the reason the other is 640X352 ? its because it was made that way, you can make it smaller during conversion with TMPGEnc or re-encoding with Vdub, but don't try and expand it, and expect the quality to be as good.

if you are making it, then how are you doing it ? capture ? wrong size, ripping ? wrong size
